
Welcome to the website of the Department of Optics P.M. Duffieux of the FEMTO-ST Institute, four research teams with interets in many areas of modern optics, including near-field optics, nonlinear optics, optoelectronics, quantum optics, laser physics, ultra-fast optics, biophotonics. Both fundamental aspects of light-matter interactions and applications of these fields to all-optical information processing, telecommunications, cryptography, micro- and nanotechnologies, optical microscopy, ultra-fast spectroscopy, optical coherence tomography, classical and quantum imaging are considered.
